구강 기형종(Epignathus)은 구강 내에서 발생하는 매우 드문 형태의 기형종이다. 이 종양은 대부분 양성이지만 종양의 크기가 큰 경우, 기도 폐쇄를 일으켜 태아에게 매우 치명적일 수 있다. 저자들은 산전 초음파를 통해 구강 기형종을 발견하여 이를 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Epignathus is a extremely rare form of teratoma that arises from oral cavity. Most of these tumors are benign but in case of large tumor, these can be fatal due to airway obstruction. We have experienced a oral teratoma(epignathus) using ultrasonography during antenatal period and present this case with a brief review of literatures.
