Pulmonary sequestration (PS) is first described by Pryce in 1946. PS is a congenital malformation that contains a focal area of dysplastic and nonfunctioning pulmonary parenchyma and has no connection to the tracheobronchial tree and pulmonary arteries. PS can be divided into the intralobar type (75%) and extralobar type (25%), which rarely may be present in an intraabdominal site. With an incidence of less than 0.1% in live births, PS are rare types of congenital foregut malformations. Among this group of anomalies, more than 90% are found in the thorax, and less than 10% of them arise under the diaphragm, mainly in the left upper abdomen. We found 2 case of intraabdominal extralobar pulmonary sequestration, found in the left adrenal gland by prenatal Ultrasound. So we report our experience with a brief review of literatures.
