Ectopia cordis is a complete or partial displacement of the heart outside the thoracic cavity. It is often associated with sternal, chest wall, pericardial and abdominal wall defects in addition to intracardiac anomalies. For proper counseling, early detailed ultrasonographic examination is crucial. We present a case of ectopia cordis which was diagnosed at 12 weeks’ gestation by transvaginal ultrasonography.
