태아수종은 태아기에 피부 및 부종과 체내에 수분이 과도하게 축적된 상태를 말한다. 최근 진단과 치료 방법의 발전에도 불구하고 높은 주산기 사망률은 크게 변하지 않았으나 예후는 발병 시기와 원인 질환에 따라 크게 차이가 있다. 최근 초음파검사와 산전진단 방법의 발달로 원인 질환을 진단하고 치료 할 수 있는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 이에 저자들은 임신 12 주 3차원 초음파를 통해 진단된 태아수종 1예를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Fetal hydrops is a disease characterized by generalized subcutaneous edema and cavity effusion in the fetal stage. Mortality is high and depends on the gestational age at the time of occurrence and underlying etiology. Recent advances in obstetric ultrasound, prenatal diagnostics have made it possible to differentiate various etiologies involved. It is also possible to treat some of this fetus prenatally. We report a case of fetal hydrops diagnosed by three dimensional (3-D) ultrasonogram with a brief literature.
