Cervical pregnancy is defined as implantation of the fertilized oocyte distal to the internal cervical os. It is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy and the predisposing factors to the occurrence of a cervical pregnancy are local cervical pathologies, previous dilatation and curettage and in vitro fertilization. Traditionally, hysterectomy was the only life-saving treatment. Today, early detection of cervical pregnancy has allowed various types of conservative management that preserve fertility. We report a case of cervical pregnancy that fail to respond to intra-amniotic injection of PGF2 . Thereafter we successfully treated the cervical pregnancy by intra-amiotic injection of methotrexate and intracervical balloon tamponade.
